Recruiting Coordinator

Location: Washington DC      

GetUpside is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to partner with our Head of People as the company doubles in size throughout 2019! The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities, leading operational initiatives and building candidate relationships. The ideal person has incredible attention to detail, great customer service skills and an ability to manage a high volume of tasks with little supervision. We’re looking for someone to have the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to broaden their Recruiting or HR experience and work in an aggressively growing organization.

What will you do?

  • Partner with the Head of People, interviewers and hiring managers to coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process, including scheduling interviews, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursements.

  • Manage an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring an efficient process and timely communication with candidates regarding interview logistics.

  • Act as primary point of contact on day-of-interview for both the candidate and interview teams, professionally handling all unexpected scheduling conflicts.

  • Using our applicant tracking system and relevant recruiting processes to keep organized and help keep our busy team on track.

  • Coordinate and attend recruiting and networking events, meetups, team events, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communicator. You have excellent written and verbal skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness. You’re respectful of the candidate and the stressful process a job hunt can be.

  • Motivated. You understand the impact of a highly-satisfied, excited team; you’re slightly obsessive-compulsive about grinding away at issues, and can anticipate needs before they arise.

  • Fun! You're a charismatic people person who can talk to anyone; you're flexible, fearless, and excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world.

  • 1-2 years of recruiting or HR coordinating experience

  • Tech-savvy: comfortability with Macs, Google Drive & using an ATS (Greenhouse is a plus)

Nice to haves...

  • Experience in a high-growth technology start-up

  • Familiarity with Slack

  • Experience working with teams located in multiple cities
