Head of Sales Ops

Location: Austin TX

We're looking for an experienced business leader who is passionate about the opportunity to build and scale our Sales Operations and Account Management functions to support our growth into new territories and spend categories. The Head of Sales Operations will lead sales planning, strategic analysis, and operational projects to increase revenue, sales productivity, and efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced culture, has a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive results, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to convert ideas to action.

What will you do?

  • Lead the Sales Operations and Account Management organization.

  • In close collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer, define and implement drive implementation plans for the sales and marketing strategies to grow the business.

  • Define and manage the key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the global sales and marketing organization. Recommend improvement actions.

  • Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly operating rhythm for forecasting and monitoring performance and projections internal and externally.

  • Monitor in-quarter performance and develop forecast projections.

  • Align and manage the merchant communications roadmap for Operations enhancements (i.e. Translate an integrated set of business priorities into a succinct, actionable framework.

  • Understand and ensure successful implementation of software company best practices across all functional areas.

  • Track the efficacy of various initiatives and help implement the appropriate reporting and metrics to ensure desired results are being achieved.

What do you need?

  • 5+ years of experience in client relationship management, sales, account management and operations.

  • Category experience across one or more of the following: Enterprise Technology, retail, QSR/restaurants, travel, finance/insurance and CPG

  • 4-year college degree

  • High energy and a passion for technology

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to handle a wide range of team and company needs at first

  • Creative thinking – many of our solutions are currently custom

  • New business hunter. A builder by nature. Team player.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of time in the first year
